apples in a basketApple picking is a popular activity this time of year. It may even be on your Fall Bucket List, with all the different Apple Harvests happening around the North State.

What do you do with all those apples once you pick them or purchase a bunch from the store? We’ve got you covered with a variety of different bake and no-bake recipes that include apple crumb muffins, appledoodles, and caramel turtle apple slices!

All you need to do is pick a category below and select one of the delicious desserts to create for yourself or your whole family!

Pies

Apple Pie Bites

Don’t want to make a big apple pie this year? Maybe you didn’t realize that it was your turn to make the apple pie and you have zero time to bust one out that's considered edible. Have no fear! These apple pie bites are the way to go! Not only are they super yummy and bite sized (who doesn’t like bite sized??), but you can whip up a batch in 30 minutes!

2-Ingredient Apple Pie Cups

Quick and simple, and barely takes any prep work. This recipe works best for those of you that aren’t dead set on making everything from scratch. All that’s needed are some canned apple pie filling and refrigerated cinnamon rolls.

German Apple Pie

Mary believes that this will be like no other apple pie you’ve ever tasted. It’s richer, smoother, and deliciously creamy. She evens provides a recipe for a gluten free crust as well!

Apple Pie with Flaky Butter Crust

For those traditionalists who believe you don’t need to update or put a twist on the classic apple pie, this is the recipe for you!

Muffins

Apple Crumb Muffins

Who doesn’t love a good apple crumble? Making it in muffin form is even better. No need to stare at the crumble wondering if you can get away with a big slice or if you should just eat a small one. Take a muffin, and go!

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

This recipe is very popular with muffin lovers. The combination of the pumpkin with chunks of apples, and the added streusel on top makes you wish you made more than two batches!

Cookies

Apple Oatmeal Cookies

Fall themed cookies this time of year are what make the world go ‘round. Mix the yumminess of the oatmeal with the chewiness of the apples and you’ll have people coming back for more every time! They also make for fun gifts!

Appledoodles

These snickerdoodles with an apple twist are a great addition to a fall cookie list. Especially when you roll the cookie balls in an extra layer of cinnamon and sugar to give them that snickerdoodle look and feel. You also switch up the way you prepare your apples by shredding them instead of chopping them.

Breads

Dutch Apple Bread

This homemade Dutch apple bread sounds extremely easy to make with most of the ingredients being items that bakers tend to have on hand. All that’s really needed is a few good Granny Smith apples. The best part of this bread is that you don’t have to choose between a crumble topping and a glaze, you get to use both!

Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

Bread pudding can be thought of as a bread…right? Well today it is. Bread pudding is a popular form of dessert in England, but it’s yummy enough to make it across the pond. Try it out, but make sure that you follow the ingredients and tips that are laid out for you to get the best result!

Snacks

Cinnamon Apple Chips

Looking for a semi-healthy snack this time of year with a holiday twist? Try making this yummy cinnamon apple chips, all it takes is 2-3 ingredients and some baking time!

Chocolate Turtle Apple Slices

Does anyone else love those little caramel turtles you can usually find by the bundles this time of year? If during Halloween you couldn’t make or eat enough caramel apples then this is the treat for you! Fuji apples (the best apples really) covered in deliciously tasting melted chocolate with a bit of drizzled caramel and topped with your favorite nuts. You may even try making these for Halloween next year instead of your traditional caramel apples!

Apple Cider

Making homemade apple cider is not only a way to have your own batch of apple cider on hand, but it can make your entire home smell like fall. I mean really, what more could you ask for?

Of course there are a million other things you could make with your apples this fall season, but we thought these were good tasty options to choose from!
